Our Story
A Brief History
We are a husband and wife team who believe Jesus is our Lord and Savior. We also increasingly believe that success must come from being plugged into our community and enhancing the local products and services for our neighbors.
Back in the fall of 2022, we discovered a need for a full-service firearms store serving local residents. JR Firearms was launched on June 16, 2023, with a small stock of firearms, ammunition, shooting accessories, hunting gear, concealment furniture and purses, cleaning tools, and reloading supplies.
Upcoming Products and Services
From day one, we have requested feedback and suggestions from our patrons and taken action to fulfill their requests. Partially because of that and from our own ideas, we have been pursuing many initiatives to grow and provide the community with valuable services.
- We have been in discussions with the local Police Department about holding firearm safety courses in our facility.
- We are in the process of partnering with Main Street Roasters, the Nappanee Conservation Club, and the Chamber of Commerce.
- The number of wholesaler contracts we have signed for the store has increased every week, providing more selections in all of our product categories.
With these initiatives, and many more, we hope to create the #1 supplier for shooting sports within a 30 minute radius.
